About Orca Scuba on Rawa and Singapore

About Orca Scuba

At Orca Scuba, we are passionate about the ocean and everything in it! Our founder, Jeroen, even wrote a book about it! We love to introduce others to the world of scuba diving, so they can experience it with us. Our team of professional dive instructors have years of experience introducing both children and adults to the underwater world through our high quality, safe and professional dive training.

We teach a wide variety of PADI dive courses, for complete beginners, all the way up to professional PADI Divemasters. Every course we teach, we focus on safety, quality and the preservation of our oceans. We use high quality equipment that is regularly inspected and maintained, and even have specially selected equipment just for children.

Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.

Goal 14 - United Nations Sustainable Development

To help children and their families fall deeply in love with the oceans, spreading a sense of urgency for their conservation and repair.

To become a central hub for action, education and hope for the oceans. To spark a movement for ocean conservation and adventure, proving that, as humanity heals the oceans, the oceans will heal humanity.

1. Education as a tool to save the planet
2. Respect for life and ecosystems
3. Belief in a positive future
4. Action over complacency

Our commitment to conservation

What sets Orca Scuba apart from any other dive operator, even in the eyes of PADI, is our unique approach to ecology. Everything we do is about making a truly positive impact on the planet. We have aligned our vision with Goal 14 of the United Nations Sustainable Development campaign (above).

“Excellent dive instructors with a passion for the environment and actually educating you in all safety aspects.”

“Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We have already booked to go back.”

“I liked it so much that I ended up extending my stay for another week to get my Advanced Open Water Certificate as well.”

Our commitment to quality and flexibility

All of our courses have a maximum ratio of just 4 students per one instructor, even if regulations allow a higher ratio for a particular course. We understand that time is precious, which is why we do not have fixed schedules for our programs. You can complete the theory and training at your own pace, even in the comfort of your own home thanks to PADI’s training Apps and online learning.

Meet the Orca Scuba Team

Although the same could be said of any business, in a dive company like Orca, the team really is our greatest asset. Orca Scuba’s people are more than just members of staff. They are our ambassadors; they are our customer service representatives; and they are our sales and marketing people. Read More >>

Orca Yoga

Yoga is something we at Orca Scuba have always felt connected to. Many of our customers, indeed many divers, enjoy yoga. Perhaps it’s the focus on breathing, or the desire to explore unknown depths. Or maybe it’s just another great way to combine exercise with relaxation. Whatever the reason, we are now offering yoga classes at our base in Rawa, under the direction of Emma Sparrow. You can read about Orca Yoga here, or see Emma’s regular contributions to our blog here.
